Hi I'm Anthony Slaughter, founder and creator of SkyWX (pronounced sky-weather). It started out as online merchandise and phase two is now building the SkyWX Command Center. Weather has always been a passion of mine, just like many other weather nerds; we get struck with the bug early! I was about 7 years old and that passion for weather has stayed lit since then. I spent 17 years working in television news and in April of 2025, I parted ways with local news. In October of 2025, I created SkyWX, LLC for weather enthusiatists and people who just love festive hoodies or fun t-shirts. The brand is taking off to new heights with the SkyWX Command Center and SkyWX Storm Chasing Team coming very soon!  I'm excited to be venturing on this new journey still telling the weather, but from my perspective, with my tools, and my team.
